Oh hi there! Well, it has been a while! I have been rather busy these past few weeks but thought I would pop up a few pictures of the beautiful wedding I was at yesterday. I was asked to be a bridesmaid by my lovely friend Jemma (who I've known since History in first year and lived with in fourth year) which was so nice of her. A lot of planning has gone into the wedding and it went so smoothly. I went up on the Thursday for the rehearsal then spent the night at Jemma's on Friday night. We were up bright and early on Saturday to get everything ready for the day ahead. The sun was shining (I had sun cream in my first aid kit.. Holler) and it was just perfect. I am totally wiped so I'll just pop up a few pictures for now.
Jemma looked absolutely beautiful. As you can see...
I think this one is one of my favourites... Put your hands up!
I could talk about the wedding for days, so I will leave it here for now (well, until I steal Jamie's pictures). I hope those who were there will get the reference in the title of this post..

'We can't just stand here, who's got an idea?'
I am currently writing this at 8pm on a Sunday night in my bed.. I have been in my bed all day and I'm incredibly bored. My stomach has been very sore the past couple of days and I'm not sure why. Paracetamol doesn't seem to get rid of it so I am currently trying to ignore it.. This plan is not working. It's not dreadful, just an annoying, dull pain. VERY ANNOYING.
Last week was pretty busy so maybe I'm just completely knackered from that?! Anyway, the obvious highlight was HARRY POTTER on Friday morning. The Brown cousins were down so we all went to see that. Teenie and I gave ourselves Harry Potter manicures.. We were so impressed with our work.
The cinema wasn't that busy (as we went first thing on Friday morning) which I was quite surprised at. The film was great. I think it was my favourite one from the series. Teenie and I were in tears at various points (sad, sad, sad etc) so I was glad I put on waterproof mascara. I am such a wimp.
As I mentioned before, Teenie and I went to T in the Park last week. It was so much fun! We spent most of the time celeb spotting in the VIP tent - holla! My best spot was Taylor Momsen - she looked crazy skinny. There was a Rainbow Rooms mini hair salon there and I asked if they would tidy up my hair for me. They were lovely and had me sitting there within seconds! I got a few odd looks from people as they were clearly thinking, 'why is that girl with incredibly short hair, getting her hair cut even shorter?!'. Oh well, I didn't care. At one point Taylor Hawkins from the Foo Fighters came to sit next to me to pose for a photo - I had no idea who he was or why people were fussing around him. I realised after he left..
After the tour, Teenie and I managed to catch a couple of bands which was great fun - my inner Emo definitely came out. We didn't stay to the end as my legs were about to give way but it was ace none the less.
Apologies for this rather dull post but I am going to have an early night and hope this sore stomach doesn't keep me awake.. Fingers crossed.

Hill of 'Fear'
Granny lives just outside a town called, 'Hill of Fearn'. Normally, whenever we visit, someone has painted over the 'N' on the sign turning it into 'Hill of Fear'.. For some reason, I find this hilarious (easily amused). Unfortunately, the 'N' was still present when we were up north. I was tempted to get some paint and do it myself! Probably best I didn't though. We are now back home and it feels like we haven't been away! I'm just going to pop up a few photo's of our time up north, it was so lovely to be away. Granny is doing very well, she'll be running about in no time!
It was great to catch up with family that we hadn't seen for a while (thanks for the amazing coffee cake Carole!). On Thursday (I think), Mum and I went into Dornoch which I LOVED. In one shop there was a whole room dedicated to scented soap and candles.. Totally up my street. We also went to Dornoch Cathedral where Granny and Grandpa got married. It is a beautiful church and I'm glad we were able to see it.
On the Friday before we went up north, Ruth and I went to my friend Lynsey's 20's themed Murder Mystery Party. I've never been to one before so was well excited. It was kind of like a more intense version of 'Mafia' and was so much fun.
I got a black wig for the party (as you can see.. Duh) and also painted my eyebrows black. I looked well weird.
In health related news (snore), I guess I'm doing alright. I am still taking Magnesium supplements and am hoping at my blood test tomorrow it will have picked up a bit. I also managed to get day tickets to TITP (from TCT) and am aching all over today from standing for so long. I need to steal Teenie's photo's from that so will put them up soon! The day was totally ace but I will save that chat for later!
This week I don't have much planned. Is it sad if I say it's going to be filled with Harry Potter?! We're going to see the last film on Friday morning (SUPER EXCITED) so Teenie and I are having a Harry Potter marathon this week. As I've been so sore today, I've not really done much at all. There's so many things I've been meaning to do today but I just can't be bothered... Oh well!

I can see Granny's house
When we were kids, on the way to Granny's we would always compete to see who would be the first to see Granny's house.. This has now become a habit that whenever we are approaching Granny's house we have to say 'it'. I have had such a lovely week here and for now, will just pop some photo's up of Granny's garden. I have taken so many so it's just a few at the moment!
Isn't it beautiful? I love being here. Last weekend the weather was gorgeous - bit too warm for me really!
Also, here is a picture of Fearn Abbey, the church where my parents were married. It is a lovely building.
I have so many more photo's to share but I said I'd help Mum with dinner so I best be off!
